Donations and fundraising campaigns
If you send us a donation, we collect your name, bank details and the purpose of the donation (donation keyword, project). These are stored for administrative allocation purposes. To issue a donation receipt, we also need your address, which you provide to us when you contact us. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose of its processing or we will restrict the processing if, for example, there are retention obligations under tax law. You have the option to object to the processing of your data at any time. However, please note that if you object, the donation order can no longer be processed as requested.
For donation campaigns, we use the donation form and the technical platform of betterplace.org gGmbH, Schlesische Straße 26, 10997 Berlin. Newsletter subscription
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in this notice, are stored on CleverReach's servers. CleverReach uses this information to send and analyse the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore, according to its own information, CleverReach may use this data to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimise the sending and presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes in order to determine which countries the recipients come from. However, CleverReach does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or pass it on to third parties.
We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of CleverReach. We have concluded a contract with CleverReach for the commissioned processing of personal data (in accordance with the GDPR).
