Our objectives

Our vision is clear: a polyclinic for everyone – solidarity over profit! The path to achieving this is challenging, but we are travelling it together. To this end, we have set out specific goals that show how equitable healthcare can become a reality. Step by step!

The evolution of the idea

We support start-up initiatives in order to establish our concept in as many places as possible.

Establishment of centres

We support our members in setting up centres – whether in urban or rural areas. The aim is to achieve widespread coverage through community-based health centres.

Improving the quality of care

We support our members in establishing and developing services in the areas of healthcare, prevention and community work.

Developing multi-professional care

We are developing multi-professional care, strengthening collaboration and enhancing the role of non-medical professions.

Strengthening situational prevention

We promote a context-based prevention approach and incorporate the social determinants of health into our healthcare provision.

Democratisation of the healthcare system

We are committed to a democratic healthcare system that prioritises the common good.

Promoting the ‘Health in All Policies’ approach

We support the ‘Health in All Policies’ approach – the impact on our health must be taken into account in all policy decisions.

Reducing health inequalities

We want to bring about lasting improvements in social and health inequalities in our society.

Making the association’s structures more professional

We are constantly expanding our organisational structures; they form the basis for achieving our goals.

Development of new financing models

We are developing new funding models for the centres’ work in order to safeguard their operations in the long term.
