This document is intended to help you gain an understanding of how a polyclinic is set up and what steps need to be taken – from establishing the group through the initial group processes to many other aspects. We are currently in the process of revising the document. However, it is largely up to date and can be used.

We have drawn up this position paper in collaboration with the Association of Democratic Doctors, Doctors of the World and BGA Wohnungslosenhilfe e.V.

The concept paper ‘Health as a Common Good’ was developed through dialogue between members of our organisation and those of communia e. V. As a think tank, communia e. V. develops strategies for a democratic economy. We are united by the conviction that good healthcare can only be achieved where it is guided by the common good, organised democratically and tailored to people’s real needs.
