About us
Who are we?
We, the Poliklinik Syndikat e. V., are an association of projects in Germany that establish and operate solidarity-based, interprofessional health centres. What began as a loose network structure in 2019 developed into a registered, non-profit association with a growing number of members by 2023. Our members are associations that either already operate a health centre or are in the process of founding/establishing one.
A central concern of the network is the exchange of experience and knowledge between the member groups. To this end, biannual general meetings are organised with workshops, presentations and exchange sessions on practical topics. Supra-regional working groups continuously deal with topics such as lobbying, strategy, public relations, funding and administration. We accompany and advise our members in the establishment and further development of health centres, support them with legal and economic issues as well as with financing and public relations.
We pay particular attention to communicating the concepts of solidarity-based health centres (SGZs) to politicians and the public. Through events, lectures, conferences, alliance work and targeted public relations, we draw attention to the importance of social determinants of health.
We are organised as a non-profit association. The members - exclusively associations - meet in the General Assembly, the highest body of the organisation. The content-related work is carried out in various working groups, while the head office is responsible for coordination and administration. The aim is to establish effective structures for solidarity-based, sustainable healthcare not only locally, but also nationwide and, in the long term, at European and global level, and to help shape social debates.
Together with our members, we contribute to strengthening the public healthcare system, promote cooperation between different professional groups and create sustainable structures for future-proof healthcare.
As an association, we are part of
