Solidarity instead of profit: support fair healthcare!

The facts are clear: poor people fall ill more often and die earlier. This is not because people behave more unhealthily, but because social factors have a direct impact on our health: poor working conditions, cramped living conditions, constant existential worries and more difficult access to healthcare.
At the same time, the healthcare system is becoming increasingly economised: hospitals are closing, surgeries are concentrating in affluent districts and those without health insurance are often left without any care at all.
The Polyclinic Syndicate wants to change this - with your help!
We are an association of local initiatives that have founded district health centres or are planning to do so. In the centres, we provide multi-professional healthcare, i.e. different professions work together under one roof, thus combining different perspectives on health.
As we are convinced that all people have a right to health, it is essential for us to give everyone access to all of our services.
Our district health centres have been providing health services since 2017 - and these principles apply to us:
Access for all - regardless of insurance status
Close cooperation with local initiatives
Multidisciplinary instead of isolated
Relational prevention instead of behavioural prevention
Collective organisation instead of hierarchies
The Poliklinik Syndikat e.V. is the umbrella organisation of these solidarity-based health centres. As a nationwide structure, we pursue four major goals:
To establish centres - in cities and in the countryside
To improve the work of the centres locally
To reshape the healthcare system in Germany
To achieve a transformative impact with our work
To achieve these goals, we need your support!
Your donation will flow directly into the development of our association structure and, in the coming year, primarily into these areas:
New concepts for community work - development and implementation of transformative community organising in the centres
Polyclinics in rural areas - support for projects in underserved areas in rural areas
Strengthening the association structure - resources for internal networking, our bi-annual general meeting
Supporting our members - further training and skill sharing in setting up and running the centres
Healthcare for all - series of events on the topic of "Solidarity infrastructures"
New concepts for outpatient healthcare and healthcare policy activism need your support!
