General meeting 1/2025 in Göttingen

Our first general meeting 2025 took place in Göttingen in May. Motto: Building what builds us - more and better centres.
The weekend was primarily dedicated to practical work in the centres and their development.
The focus was on community research, public relations work, racism in healthcare as discrimination-sensitive primary care and (outreach) health counselling. With around 130 people from the local groups, there were plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas.
On Friday evening, our event on community research took place, where the local group from Bochum (still in candidate status) reported on their practical work in the neighbourhood and the training of community researchers and their activism.
The overall meeting was also characterised by networking among the many members from the syndicate who had travelled to Göttingen - Göttingen, with its location in the middle of Germany, certainly contributed to this.
We were also very impressed by the city tour of Göttingen's left-wing history, especially with a focus on health and community organising, as well as the party and concert on Saturday evening. All in all, we can look back on a great organisation for a large number of people.
